Mediterranean diet and haute cuisine
Our last event on 14 December 2019 took place in Società Dante Alighieri in Geneva – an informal conversation with Caterina Ceraudo, best female Italian chef by the Michelin Guide 2017, best chef under 35 by Food Community Awards in 2018.
As one of southern Italy’s most forward-thinking chefs, Caterina Ceraudo serves simple yet inventive cuisine in her Michelin-starred restaurant in Calabria. Her elegant cooking has one goal – to bring traditional Calabrian cuisine into the twenty-first century.
The history of Mediterranean diet, how to eat healthy, how to use inexpensive but quality and fresh ingredients, how to manage your time while cooking, what are the current trends in food – these are few topics discussed at the event that we believe can be relevant all over the world.
La nuit des chateaux
On 19 October 2019, hundreds of manors, palaces and castles opened their doors for an extraordinary night-time experience that took place all over France for the first time.
The night experience at Château des Cologny offered participants a gastronomic and literary journey between two regions: Calabria in Italy and Ain in France.
The gastronomic journey featured a tasting of Calabrian high quality wines produced by the Ceraudo estate in the Cirò region. Every wine was paired to an authentic cheese from the Ain region.
